IMPORTANT: Before class, students should read the above chapters and complete the review exercises in the Student Study Guide.

** Bring a 6-foot section of rope for knots chapter &emdash; We recommend between 3/8" and _" diameter, three strand nylon or double braid nylon. Please, NO polypropylene rope!

  GENERAL INFORMATION

  1. Classes will be held at 102 South King St. in Hampton.
  2. Completion of this course with a satisfactory grade on the examination will satisfy Virginia's Safe Boating Course requirements and information will be given for state computers.
